Partners/Members of RRF Solicitors LLP

Robert J. Evans, LL.B. Hons (Durham)

Robert attended Durham University and completed the LPC in London. Robert undertook his training with Roland Robinsons & Fentons in 1996 and qualified as a solicitor in 1998. In his work he covers a broad selection of work focussing on Corporate and Commercial law.

Robert J. Castle, LL.B. Hons (Newcastle)

Robert is a Solicitor/partner and Heads up the Criminal Department , he is based at our Blackpool office. Robert attended Newcastle University from 1983-1986; he undertook the LPC in London and qualified as a Solicitor in 1989. Robert specialises in Criminal Law and undertakes cases which involve Fraud, Conspiracies, and terrorism and is a Specialist Motoring Advocate.

Emma Schofield

Emma is a Solicitor/Partner within the Family department based at our Blackpool office. Emma specialises in Childcare and she is a Law Society accredited specialist in Children Law. Emma predominantly represents children in proceedings that have been issued by the Local Authority or protracted private law contact/residence proceedings. Emma also represents parents in complex children law proceedings, again issued by the Local Authority. She has over 20 years’ experience in Children Law and is an experienced Court Advocate appearing in many Courts across Lancashire and the North West.

Clare A. Jackson, B.A. Hons.

Clare is a Solicitor and Partner with the firm and is based at our Blackpool Office. She specialises in Wills and Probate and Landlord and Tenant work. Clare qualified with Roland Robinsons and Fentons in 2003 and became a Partner in 2011. Clare advises on the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate applications and Estate administration as well as all aspects of Landlord and Tenant Law.

Leona Bulmer, LL.B Hons.

Is a Solicitor and Partner; she works at the Blackpool Office. Leona qualified in 1997 and has worked on the Fylde Coast as a qualified Solicitor since that date specialising in Residential Property Law. Types of work undertaken include; residential, sales and purchases, mortgages and remortgages and Transfers of Equity. Roland Robinsons and Fentons LLP holds the Law Society Property Law CQS (Conveyancing Quality Scheme) accreditation.

Hannah Walsh LLB Hons

Hannah is a Solicitor and Partner within the family department specialising in childcare. Hannah is an accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Law Scheme. Hannah frequently represents children and parents within proceedings issued by the local authority. Hannah attended Hull University and obtained a degree in Law. Hannah went on to complete her LPC at the University of Law in Manchester. Hannah qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and joined Roland Robinson an Fentons in March 2019.

Rupert Hale

Rupert is a commercial property solicitor working at our Lytham Office. He qualified in 2003 and has worked in the Fylde Coast and Preston throughout his career.

He specialises in commercial property law including the sale and purchase of commercial buildings, the sale an purchase of businesses and acting in all aspects of commercial leases

Sarah Jackson

Sarah is a CILEX Graduate; she works at the Lytham office. Sarah graduated in 2023 and has worked on the Fylde Coast in Residential Conveyancing since 2014.

Types of work undertaken include; residential sales and purchases, mortgages and remortgages and Transfers of Equity.

Lynn Heap

Lynn joined Roland Robinsons and Fentons in October 2009. She is a Chartered Legal Executive Advocate and a Children Panel Specialist Executive within the Family Department based at our Blackpool office.

Lynn represents parents in care proceedings and pre-proceedings involving the Local Authority. Lynn is a member of the Children’s Panel and is able to represent children in those proceedings.

Lynn is experienced in and regularly involved in representing parents in Court hearings. Lynn has good communication skills and has a good working relationship with all of her clients. Lynn is able to work effectively and efficiently with professionals involved in the proceedings.

Kathryn Jamieson-Sinclair, LL.B. Hons.

Kathryn has been a criminal solicitor since she qualified in 2003 and during that time has represented defendants on the full range of criminal allegations from low level assaults and shoplifting, through to large scale, multi handed, complex drugs conspiracies and murder. She has been a duty solicitor since 2005.

Kathryn regularly represents individuals in court and is an effective trial advocate. She has also been commended by judges for her sensitivity and skill in cross-examining vulnerable witnesses, and likewise is recognised for her ability to ably represent vulnerable defendants. Kathryn is well regarded as a robust advocate and defender of her clients. She is methodical and thorough in the preparation of cases involving large volumes of evidence.

She has a particular interest in the Dangerous Dogs Act and the complexities of that legislation, which should not be underestimated, and to that end works regularly with dog charities and organisations such as Deed Not Breed, both in an advisory capacity and providing representation in court for individual defendants.

Kathryn joined Roland Robinsons and Fentons in 2012.

Jack Charnley

Jack completed his LLB (Hons) in 2019 with first-class honors, receiving accolades such as the Fletchers Prize and a place on the Dean’s List for Outstanding Attainment. Following this, he earned a Master’s in Legal Practice in 2020, graduating with distinction.

Jack began his career as a police station representative in 2021, gaining a comprehensive understanding of a wide-range of offences from straightforward theft and common assault all the way through to murder. He also has experience dealing in National Crime Agency matters. He qualified as a solicitor in September 2023 and has since built a robust practice.

Jack works closely with clients from their initial contact at the police station, guiding them through every stage of their case, including court proceedings. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, he demonstrates his ability to manage complex cases involving extensive paperwork. His personable nature and unwavering commitment to his clients ensure dedicated and effective defence.

Jack’s combination of academic excellence, practical experience, and client-focused approach makes him a valuable asset to the firm.
